Pam Bondi announced her ousting as Attorney General, a transfer that made President Donald Trump look dangerous.
On April 2nd, President Trump, 79, announced the firing of Bondi, 60, as Attorney General on Truth Social. He wrote, “We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much-needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future, and our Deputy Attorney General, and a very talented and respected Legal Mind, Todd Blanche, will step in to serve as Acting Attorney General.”
The former attorney common took to social media and launched an official assertion, which read, “Over the next month, I will be working tirelessly to transition the office of Attorney General to the amazing Todd Blanche before moving to an important private sector role I am thrilled about, and where I will continue fighting for President Trump and this Administration.”
Bondi said she was “eternally grateful,” calling her time main the Justice Department “the honor of a lifetime” and pointing to her major achievements under the administration.
After Fox News reposted her assertion on their socials, conservatives slammed President Trump and his long-time ally, particularly over their handling of the Epstein information.
One individual fumed, “Firing her doesn’t mean the investigation ends, Trump. You’re so incompetent! Congress has already subpoenaed her regarding the Epstein files, and she still needs to answer for why victim identities were exposed while powerful names stayed hidden.”
Another individual added, “On to the next worthless incompetent shmuck to be appointed by the stupidest man in America to further humiliate our nation while we go broke and watch Americans die in a worthless war.”
A 3rd wrote, “0 for 0 Bondi. Only two years too late. A waste of time. We all said she would be Trump’s downfall. Looks like we were right. Trump and the Attorney General suck.”
Despite the criticism, the duo still had a supporter who shared, “Class act from Pam Bondi. Calling her time at the DOJ ‘the honor of a lifetime’ while highlighting real wins like lower crime and going after gangs/Antifa shows grace under pressure. Smooth handoff to Todd Blanche. That’s how it’s done. Wishing her the best in the private sector.”
Reports urged Bondi was dismissed the night before the announcement, just prior to Trump’s primetime handle to the nation on April 1 relating to the warfare against Iran.
