Jesse Watters turns on Trump as he rips into MAGA | TV Shows

In a transfer that shocked Fox News viewers, Jesse Watters went in exhausting on Donald Trump’s latest MAGA rent.

During the latest episode of Jesse Watters Primetime, the controversial news anchor interviewed Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, who was employed following the firing of Pam Bondi on April 2.

Blanche has labored with the president often, as he was beforehand the lead counsel for Trump’s protection in three of the 4 major legal circumstances he confronted between his first and second phrases.

During Watters’ Thursday interview with the administration’s latest rent, the 47-year-old requested Blanche about what he’d do next with regard to the Epstein Files. However, when the lawyer gave non-satisfactory solutions, Watters pushed back, transferring away from his common MAGA sycophancy.

Speaking about Epstein, and the rumor that he was working for Israel’s Mossad, Watters requested Blanche, “You’ve combed through those files. Who was Epstein spying for?”

Stuttering barely, Blanche replied, “Look, I don’t know that he was spying for anybody. Nobody’s ever said that,” but Watters was having none of it, and shot back, “No!? You don’t think he could’ve been a spy for a foreign country?”

Blanche, who was still on his first day on the job, then appeared somewhat awkward as he smiled at the presenter, responding, “I have no idea if he was a spy. All I know is we don’t have any evidence in the Epstein Files that the FBI collected over 15 years that suggests that, Jesse.”

Watters appeared somewhat aghast as Blanche spoke, with the lawyer including, “I don’t know know. I wasn’t part of the original prosecution team, neither was Attorney General Bondi, and I can tell you this: there’s only one president who’s held Mr Epstein accountable, and that’s Donald J. Trump.”

Continuing his almost minute-long ramble, Blanche told Fox News viewers, “During his first administration, that was the administration that prosecuted him, and during this administration, it’s been this administration that’s been totally transparent, and released all the files. And no matter how much criticism people want to make about the Epstein Files, that is indisputable.

“It’s indeniable that no one talked about the Epstein Files for 4 years during Biden. And so when President Trump said, ‘Let’s release the Epstein Files,’ and the law was handed that allowed us to legally do it, we did it.”

But Jesse Watters still didn’t seem satisfied with Blanche’s response, as he looked down, laughing, and replied, “Okay. I’m not sure you completely get what people really feel about that, but I would like to transfer on.”

Fox News viewers were rather shocked by Watters’ firm line of questioning, as they took to social media to share their thoughts.

On X, one person wrote, “Lolz. Even Jesse Watters is not falling for this nonsense,” while another said, “When even Watters is confused by Blanche’s blind assist for Epstein, it’s unhealthy.”

A third person then chimed in to say, “Watters is waking up. Blanche just appears dumb. Purposefully dumb,” with a fourth Fox News viewer adding, “I believe this is the most push back Watters has ever given. I’m virtually impressed. How unhappy.”
