Jesse Watters branded stupid mongrel after | TV Shows
Host Jesse Watters proposed a money-making concept for the Strait of Hormuz, which upset conservatives.
During the Fox News broadcast of Jesse Watters Primetime on April 8, the host boasted how President Donald Trump got here up with a two-week ceasefire deal between the United States, Iran, and Israel. A day before, the president threatened to destroy Iranian infrastructure if the nation in the Middle East didn’t reopen the Strait of Hormuz, which is the first export route for oil.
Watters proposed how the U.S. may make more money once the Strait of Hormuz is reopened. This comes as Iran has BLOCKED the Strait of Hormuz as the delicate ceasefire is on the brink after Israel assaults.
Watters said, “So I guess we’re going to allow a little bit of a grace period. The president says ‘We don’t even mind Iran charging tolls. As long as we get a 50% cut.’ He said a joint venture would be ‘a beautiful thing.’
He then proposed, “I’m not sure an Iranian toll sales space with tankers is even, with the U.S. kickback, is smart.
“But I would rather have the Iranians taxing tankers than bombing them. I’m sure they’ll hash it out at their Pakistani peace Summit. It’s not like we pay. We don’t get oil from the Strait. It’s a small premium for peace in the Middle East,” Watters concluded.
Viewers took to social media to slam Watters’ feedback, arguing that the Strait of Hormuz blockade induced the price of fuel and oil.
One viewer ranted, “What a spectacular moron! Oil is a global commodity. A price hike anywhere is a price hike for everyone!”
Another viewer added, “He’s so stupid. How did this inbred mongrel get his own show?” as a third blasted, “The U.S. has become a hostage to the situation with Iran and still thinks that Iran will yield on anything!”
Despite the criticism, Watters had a supporter who agreed with him and cheered, “Here is a man comfortable with his throne of money.”
Before the printed, Iran announced it will withdraw from a two-week ceasefire settlement if Israel continued to assault Lebanon. Iran and Lebanon have diplomatic relations and historic ties.
“Iran will withdraw from the agreement if Israel continues to violate the ceasefire by persisting in its attacks on Lebanon. Iran is considering the possibility of withdrawing from the ceasefire agreement due to its continued violation by the Zionist regime in its attacks on Lebanon,” Tasnim News Agency reported.
On April 7, Trump t announced a ceasefire on his Truth Social platform. He wrote, “Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double-sided CEASEFIRE!”
