Donald Trump shall be exhibiting face at a sporting event other than The Masters following a stark warning relating to his prospects of securing membership at Augusta National Golf Club.

On Thursday, crowds flocked to the Peach State for the first major championship of the PGA Tour season. Though an avid golfer himself, Trump — who shall be “absolutely” watching the Masters according to his granddaughter, Kai — was notably absent from the event.

While showing on a current livestream with web persona Adin Ross, UFC CEO Dana White revealed that Trump is slated to attend this weekend’s UFC 327 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. “Yeah, it’s good to be back in Miami…we got the big guy coming on Saturday too,” White said in reference to the POTUS.

Trump is a frequenter of UFC fights, having most just lately attended UFC 316 in Newark, New Jersey, where he obtained a heat welcome from those gathered at the Prudential Center. Prior to this, the 79-year-old made appearances at UFC 314 in Miami with his granddaughter, Kai, UFC 309 in New York City in November 2024, UFC 302 in Newark in June 2024, UFC 299 in Miami in March 2024 and UFC 290 in Las Vegas back in July 2023.

Trump’s anticipated presence at UFC 327 comes after a harsh evaluation delivered by Tiger Woods’ former coach Butch Harmon. In feedback to reporters earlier this week, the 82-year-old cautioned that the POTUS will never secure membership at Augusta National because of his polarizing character.

When pressed additional on why Trump wouldn’t be allowed to make membership, Harmon said: “I think you can answer that yourself – because he’s Trump. I think he is who he is. He’s full of himself. He’s the type of person that I don’t think fits the profile of an Augusta member.

“I’ve identified him most of my entire life, because his father was a member of Winged Foot [Harmon’s father, Claude, was the head professional], so I’ve identified Donald just about my entire life. What you see is what you get with him. And I do not suppose his persona suits the membership at Augusta.”

Yet Harmon argued that Trump’s political views or standing wouldn’t impact his push for membership, noting that past Presidents including Bill Clinton and Barack Obama don’t have invites to the exclusive course.

“I do not suppose that [being president] has something to do with it, because there’s been a lot of other presidents who performed golf, and they don’t seem to be members,” Harmon continued. “Clinton, Obama, they played golf. I think it’s just his personality doesn’t mix with that particular club. That’s as politically correct as I can be.”
