NBC’s Kevin Kisner has taken purpose at CBS’s Masters coverage, with the four-time PGA winner questioning why the community selected to miss so a lot of the motion at Augusta National.

Last weekend noticed Rory McIlroy grow to be just the fourth participant ever to win back-to-back Masters after he efficiently defended his title in the blazing Georgia solar. However, McIlroy’s triumph was tarnished for viewers at home by the community’s handling of the major event. During the event’s decisive ultimate shot — McIlroy’s simple bogey putt — the Northern Irishman’s ball was obscured from view.

Rather than deciding on an angle that would permit followers to witness the ball drop into the outlet at Augusta, CBS opted to broadcast McIlroy’s back, denying viewers the prospect to see what proved to be a history-making putt.

Yet that wasn’t the only grievance followers had with CBS’s coverage.

The community also drew criticism for its handling of photographs performed at Augusta, with CBS repeatedly airing footage after the motion had already taken place — a resolution that didn’t sit effectively with Kisner.

“They were literally showing s— that I knew happened 10 minutes ago all day long,” said Kisner on the “Fore Play” podcast.

He continued, “What are we doing? You have no commercials. Play live shots,” Kisner said. “Our production team at NBC prides themselves at showing every shot that they possibly can live… And when we don’t, we have to say, ‘a moment ago,’ because we are trying to make the whole movie make sense.”

So infuriated was Kisner by CBS that he texted former professional Colt Knost, who works for the community, to raise considerations about their coverage.

“Do y’all ever show a live shot?” Kisner said he requested Knost.

“I’m better off following the f—— app than your feed. So your entire Masters coverage is a fantasy world, it’s b——-. Whatever y’all watch happened seven minutes ago.”

The 42-year-old went on to say he was utterly baffled by CBS’s strategy, admitting he was shocked by how they coated the Masters in contrast to how NBC would have dealt with the major at Augusta.

“I have no idea what they are doing. They are showing every shot on tape. It’s incredible,” added Kisner.

“I don’t even know how the announcers call it… It was unbelievable. I am not trying to kill them, but being on TV for 30 times and seeing what our production team does, I was just blown away.”
