“Approximately 13% of cardiologists are ladies, and only 3% are African American. The ongoing journey through medication is hard. I’ve relied on my religion, household, and buddies for strength in reaching my objectives.
I knew that cardiovascular disease was devastating communities of coloration at a younger age. It was and stays my calling to use medication and research to change the statistics.”
