Jesse Watters boasted about President Trump’s new menace to Iran, which sparked an uproar from conservatives.
During the April 23 broadcast of Jesse Watters’ Primetime on Fox News, the host mentioned the growing tensions between the United States and Iran. The Iranian army seized two boats in the Strait of Hormuz after President Donald Trump prolonged a ceasefire. Trump then retaliated against the nation in the Middle East with a new menace.
Trump ordered the U.S. Navy to “shoot and kill” Iranian boats, which Watters praised. This comes as dramatic footage of masked and armed Iranian troopers seized two boats in the Strait of Hormuz, the first oil export route.
Watters said, “Fox News alert! The commander-in-chief has just given the Navy the shoot-to-kill orders. Any boats laying mines is subject to destruction. And there is to be no hesitation.
“A U.S. official tells Axios that the Iranian guard was just caught laying mines in the Strait. According to the source, we all know how many they dropped and where they dropped them,” he added.

“So the president is mine-hunting the operation. Two flagships have been dispatched off East Asia and surged into the area. This fleet is coming outfitted with mine-hunting choppers, drones, surveillance plane, and destroyers. 84 hungry sailors on each vessel,” Watters boasted.
Viewers took to social media to slam the host’s comments, arguing that Trump has not done enough to end the conflict with Iran.
One person said, “But still they control the Straits, still have the Uranium, still have their missiles, and still have America by the b—s.”
Another particular person added, “Trump continues to embarrass us while he throws mood tantrums trying for a deal,” as a third added, “Trump is a idiot.”
Despite the criticism, Trump did have a supporter who shared, “Trump’s a legend! We’re going to win this!”

Despite Iran having control of the Strait of Hormuz, President Trump has principally downplayed the financial blowback of his conflict, particularly the rise in oil and gasoline costs.
Before the published, a reporter requested Trump during his briefing whether or not Americans would have to endure high gasoline costs longer. He replied, “For a little while. And you realize what they get for that? Iran without a nuclear weapon.”
“I feel there’s nothing worse than a nuclear weapon that takes out one of your cities or two of your cities or three,” he forboded.
On April 22, President Trump announced on Truth Social that he was extending the ceasefire with Iran indefinitely. He expected Iranians officials to “come up with a unified proposal.” Trump had initially promised not to extend the truce, but went back on his word.
