Megyn Kelly continues to slam Trump on his chaotic | Political News
Megyn Kelly is again firing at Donald Trump over his handling of the warfare with Iran and slamming experiences that the president is growing “bored” of the battle.
A month into the warfare, MS Now reported that senior White House officers had develop into pissed off by Trump’s public messaging strategy, which they described as “confusing, internally inconsistent and increasingly detached from battlefield reality.” They also described how he needed to “just declare victory and transfer on.“
“(Trump) is getting a little bored with Iran,” a source told the outlet. “Not that he regrets it or something — he’s just bored and wants to move on.”
“Trump is bored of this warfare and needs it over — whatever,” she began during her Tuesday show. “Maybe it wasn’t the best thing to start if you didn’t have the patience to actually see it through. … Trump has moved on to other things because he has the attention span of a gnat.”
“Those of us who have been against this war from the beginning would like to see it wrapped up whether it’s from out of boredom or not. It’s really too bad that the cost of American lives isn’t the motivator,” the SiriusXM host continued.
Kelly also criticized the president’s negotiating techniques with Iran.
Despite backlash from Democrats and Republicans condemning the post, Trump stood by the assertion, telling Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo that he was “fine with it” and added that it “brought (the Iranians) to the table with the exception of the one thing, which I believe they’re going to give up on.”
“He keeps doing this. He ratchets up the rhetoric every time we’re at the end of a ceasefire or a demand that they respond to us in some way,” Kelly said during her show.
The former Fox News host has previously gone after the president for a deal he reached with Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
On April 17, Trump vowed that Iran would “never close” the key waterway again, writing on Truth Social, “It will no longer be used as a weapon against the World!” However, the U.S. blockade continued and just two days later Tehran announced that the strait was closed again.
“Yeah, it wasn’t actually (closed) before,” Kelly said. “It was an open Strait of Hormuz used by everyone in the Middle East and past. Now it’s the Strait of Iran. Now they’ve realized they’ve received an financial stress level they will unleash on us.”
