Those who get pleasure from programmes such as Cruising with Jane McDonald have a model new travel collection to look ahead to — and it will not price a penny to watch.

Cruising to the Ends of the Earth launches tonight, April 26, on Channel 4, with the “spectacular” collection promising some “unforgettable experiences”.

The broadcaster teased: “A distinctive new addition to the cruising genre, the series will journey to far-flung corners of the world and give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the extraordinary trips only paying guests have had the opportunity to experience – until now.”

The collection, which is sure to delight Jane McDonald devotees, follows three vastly different voyages aboard Princess Cruises ships “to share the diverse and breathtaking landscape of our planet”.

Audiences might be whisked away to the frozen wilderness of Alaska, the volcanic coronary heart of the Mediterranean, and the colourful coastlines of Japan and South Korea.

The Crown star Greg Wise lends his voice to the collection as each episode introduces viewers to the devoted crew members who work tirelessly to guarantee every voyage runs easily.

“Now, Louise is taking the big step of finishing up the bucket-list journey they’d deliberate together – highlighting just one of the many exceptional human tales unfolding every day aboard these giant floating cities.”

The opening episode is set to be a deeply shifting watch, as audiences are shown just how profoundly a cruise can rework lives.
