Texas Representative Beth Van Duyne slammed the rhetoric of her Democratic colleagues, which she claimed led to another assassination attempt on President Donald Trump.
Speaking with The Express U.S. on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, the consultant claimed that the phrases of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries led to the assassination attempt on Donald Trump at the Washington Hilton on Saturday. “You’ve got Hakeem Jefferies just days before with blood red lettering signs talking about maximum warfare,” Van Duyne said.

“He was a highly educated individual who flew, or I guess took a train, right? Across the country to do damage, to kill a president,” Van Duyne said of alleged shooter Cole Tomas Allen. “He was very clear with his motive, and to take down as many members of his cabinet as possible.”
“It’s insane,” Van Duyne, 55, added. “And then we can’t get funding for DHS, which again, considering that the threats on national security is unheard of.”

The statements relating to Allen come after the California instructor was accused of dashing a security checkpoint at the Washington Hilton Hotel on Saturday and opening fire proper outdoors the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.
