Sports Illustrated model Jena Sims took a delicate dig at LIV Golf amid rumors of its shutdown and confirmed funding cuts following the 2026 season.

Sims is married to PGA Tour returnee Brooks Koepka, who made his comeback on the American circuit at the start of 2026 after rejoining through the Returning Member Program following his stint with LIV Golf.

Sims appeared to make her place clear by liking an Instagram post from @ziregolf, which said: “Look, was LIV Golf successful? No. Did it bolster the reputation of everybody involved? Also no. But was it fun? Once again, no.”

Koepka’s return to the Tour got here with financial and eligibility penalties, as the 35 12 months previous was required to make a $5 million charitable donation and is barred from receiving sponsors’ exemptions into signature occasions, that means he must earn his place through efficiency.

Yet at least one fellow competitor is happy to have him back.

“As everything suddenly came out, so quickly, I wasn’t too worried about that, because normally, before the rumours come out, we know something.

“There’s always somebody in the league who is aware of one thing. It was so fast that I did not actually fear about it.”
