Rudy Giuliani left some viewers involved after he coughed throughout his X livestream, just hours before he was hospitalized in important condition.
On the Friday episode of his show, America’s Mayor Live, the previous New York City mayor warned that his “voice is a little under the weather, so I won’t be able to speak as loudly as I usually do.” Several instances throughout this system, Giuliani, 81, coughed into his hand.

President Donald Trump called Giuliani a “True Warrior and the Best Mayor in the History of New York City” in a Truth Social post.

Giuliani, Trump’s former personal attorney, who earned the nickname “America’s mayor” in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, assaults, has been hit with a slew of legal woes since the 2020 election. He pleaded not guilty to state felony expenses against him associated to an election subversion plot in Arizona.
Prosecutors dropped a comparable case against him and others in Georgia last 12 months. The two former Georgial election employees, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, obtained a $148 million defamation judgment against him for false allegations he made about them after Trump’s loss in the 2020 election.
Giuliani was disbarred in July 2024 over his efforts to problem the 2020 election outcomes. Still, he has been receiving assist from Trump, who appointed him to an advisory council inside the Department of Homeland Security last June.
