Tyrell Hatton deleted a few social media apps from his telephone two years in the past, and the 34-year-old golfer says life has been far more optimistic ever since.

Hatton joined the Saudi-backed circuit alongside two-time U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm when the Saudi-backed league burst onto the scene. However, funding from Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) is now disappearing, leaving some gamers’ futures in the air.

“For me personally, what I do doesn’t affect anything off the golf course,” Hatton said, emphasizing his willpower to keep targeted on his sport while uncertainty swirls around LIV Golf and the PGA Tour.

“Like my job is to play golf, and that’s all I can do. So I try to prepare and get ready for this tournament like I would any other time that I have a few weeks off. As I said, my job is to play golf, and that’s all I do.”

Hatton revealed that ditching in style social media platforms has given his general outlook a important carry, with the Ryder Cup star eager to distance himself from the continuing controversy.

“Actually, I deleted X off my phone 2 and a half years ago, and I deleted Instagram almost two years ago off my phone,” the golfer confirmed. “I’ve replaced that with looking at Daily Mail and Sky Sports News and other things. It’s nice to not have social media and the negativity that kind of comes with that. So I definitely don’t miss it.”

Hatton stands aside from DeChambeau and Rahm, who are at the middle of hypothesis as their futures dangle in the stability amid a potential LIV Golf shutdown.

“I think, from my perspective, I’d love to grow my YouTube channel three times, maybe even more,” DeChambeau said, while working towards for this week’s LIV Golf match at Trump National Golf Club.

“I would love to. I’d love to do a bunch of dubbing in different languages, giving the world more reason to watch YouTube. And then I’d love to play tournaments that want me.”

Rahm indicated he plans to cross that bridge when he comes to it concerning his own future.

“I have no idea,” he said. “I couldn’t tell you. I have very few talents in my life, and reading a contract or business are not two of them.

“Again, such as you just said, as of proper now, I’ve a number of years on my contract left, and I’m fairly sure they did a fairly good job when they drafted that. So I do not see many methods out, and as of proper now, I’m not likely pondering about it since we still have a season to play and majors to compete for. So it is not one thing I need to assume about just yet.”
