Fox News viewers criticized one of Melania Trump’s supporters following what they described as a “horrendous message” delivered during her program.

On Sunday, May 10, Rachel Campos Duffy, a host on Fox News’ Fox and Friends, appeared on The Sunday Briefing to talk about Melania Trump‘s op-ed about motherhood.

The earlier week, The Washington Post had printed an article penned by the first woman titled Mothers are America’s Strength, which highlighted moms as the “foundation of American democracy,” advocated for restoring honor to motherhood and encouraging ladies to prioritize self-care. It got here following backlash from Fox News viewers who demanded a pastor “repent” after making controversial Biblical claims relating to Donald Trump.

Melania’s op-ed sparked broader discussions about ladies, motherhood, and contraception. In response to the op-ed, Rachel Campos Duffy delivered an impassioned commentary on feminine contraception and motherhood, stating, “This is what I loved about the First Lady’s op-ed.

“It was lovely…She said, ‘the ethical order of issues.’ For so long, feminism and feminists have been demanding that we put work first… and we noticed the rise of the lady boss, and this is Melania Trump saying, ‘No, there’s a excellent order to this.'”

Rachel continued, “First and foremost, as ladies, as moms, our first and main obligation, both bodily for our children but also spiritually for ourselves and our children, is our calling, our vocation to motherhood.”

Duffy went on to claim that women are saying, “I do not need the capsule anymore” and are, in her words, “embracing what our precise purpose in life is,” stories the Irish Star.

Describing it as “revolutionary,” she continued, “I’m seeing real great indicators in the tradition, and with conservative ladies, whether or not it is myself, the First Lady, Erika Kirk, you see it even in Gen Z, people coming ahead and saying, ‘We’ve tried it the other manner,’ and it is left ladies unfilled on SSRIs, and sad. Let’s embrace motherhood.”

Following Duffy’s remarks, Fox News viewers took to X to voice their opinions, with one user writing, “This is some precise Handmaid’s Tale s–t.”

Another commenter echoed the sentiment, adding, “Trying to label ladies as having the same purpose in life comes off as close-minded. It’s an insult.” A third user stated, “This is a horrendous message to ship on so many ranges, it is ridiculous.”

A fourth commenter sarcastically responded, “Dear ladies, our purpose is to be breeding stock for the state. If you’ll be able to’t… I dunno, I assume somebody ought to take us behind the barn and shoot us. Men have many functions. Women are just one. P.S. If you do not wanna take the capsule, do not. You do not need to make a misogyny cult.

“Spewing that the purpose of women is to have children is really insane considering you’re talking on Fox News, idk. If you really believed that then you wouldn’t be at that desk,” famous one Fox News viewer in a pointed response.
