Yellowstone followers can rejoice as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler are back on our screens as the long-awaited spin-off Dutton Ranch makes its debut.
It’s been a while since the explosive scenes of the ultimate run of episodes of Yellowstone, which noticed Kevin Costner make his exit from the show as his character John Dutton III was brutally killed in a murder-for-hire plot put into play by adoptive son Jamie Dutton’s girlfriend, Sarah Atwood (Dawn Olivieri).
The death triggered the end of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch as Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) had been pressured to promote it to Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham).
The sale went forward for just $1.25 an acre, the price the Duttons’ ancestors initially paid when they bought it, defending the ranch and all the land hooked up from being taken and developed by builders.
After Beth carried out her genius plan to get revenge for John’s death, and murdered Jamie (Wes Bentley) while exposing him for his function in John’s homicide, she and husband Rip (Cole Hauser) embarked on making a contemporary start in South Texas on a new ranch.

The Dutton Ranch will now observe Beth, Rip, and their adoptive son Carter (Finn Little), who was identified for expressing his need to be just like John when he grew up, as they settle into their new life and a new chapter for the Dutton household legacy.
One query many followers could also be asking is how John will probably be honored by his fiercely loyal daughter as she builds her own model, having left behind his beloved Montana ranch.
A teaser for the show has already given away that John will probably be very a lot remembered by both Beth and Rip as they work to rebuild their lives. In the trailer, Beth is seen sharing an emotional second with Rip as she speaks about John.
His hat is seen on show alongside a childhood {photograph} as Beth and Rip sit down to dinner, with her admitting, “I miss him,” as she seems to be over at the hat. Rip then says, “We introduced the best half of your father with us.”
The Dutton Ranch looks set to continue the violent, fast-paced standard set in Yellowstone, as Beth and Rip are joined by an array of new characters, including iconic actors Annette Bening, Ed Harris, and Jai Courtney.
Whether we will see any familiar faces popping up remains to be seen. Kayce is busy with his new role as seen in his spin-off series, US Marshals. However, with their proximity to the Texas 6666 ranch, where we know fan-favorite cowboy Jimmy Hurdstrom now lives and works for show creator Taylor Sheridan’s character Travis, there are at least two characters we may get to see featured in the series.
Pink haired cowgirl Teeter was also seen agreeing to head to the 6666’s as the inhabitants of the bunkhouse went their separate ways in the final scenes of Yellowstone, and Rip’s loyal right-hand man Lloyd saw the door left open for his return as Rip told him he would be welcome at his ranch any time.

Fans could also see Rip’s former nemesis, country star Ryan Bingham’s singing cowboy Walker make a return as he had originally come from Texas and often expressed his regret at leaving the region, and despite Rip’s initial attempts at killing Walker, he had become a vital part of his team by the time Yellowstone reached it’s conclusion.
Whatever happens, anticipation of what’s to come is at its peak, with fans eager to see Beth and Rip do what they do best while keeping John’s legacy alive in what is bound to be their brutal new chapter.
