Despite being the most-nominated artist of the evening, Megan Moroney confirmed that she wouldn’t be attending the 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards.
A few hours before the annual awards show on Sunday, May 17, the nation music star took to Instagram to clarify why she could be skipping this 12 months, which is hosted by Canadian songstress Shania Twain. The 28-year-old hitmaker revealed the real reason she could be lacking the ACM Awards, which has nothing to do with her busy schedule as a chart-topping nation artist.

The Man on the Moon hitmaker is set to head out on her Cloud 9 tour, which kicks off in Columbus, Ohio, on May 29 and wraps up in Nashville on August 22, before heading to Europe.
