Jesse Watters boasted about President Donald Trump signing his half of the peace deal with Iran, which irked conservatives online.

On June 17, during the printed of Jesse Watters Primetime on Fox News, the conservative host mentioned President Trump’s handling of the peace deal. During the president’s journey to Versailles, Paris, where he would meet with French President Emmanuel Macron, 48, and French First Lady Brigitte Macron, 73, Trump announced he had signed the deal. In the footage, he shouted to the cameras, “It’s signed! We signed it in Versailles!”

Watters said, “Wee Wee. Trump just landed in Paris. After the G7, 47 swung through the French capital to commemorate America 250. The Treaty of Paris ended the Revolutionary War. They toasted the occasion in the world’s largest royal palace.President Trump signed the Iran deal over dinner.”

“They snapped a pic of the sheet and emailed it to the gay Ayatollah. Without wifi, they’ll probably get it Friday,” Watters said before he blurted out, “Deals seem to turn Trump on!”

He continued, “And Primetime just got our hands on the deal! We read it three times. It’s only two pages! The headline: Iran’s nuke program is over! Forever!”

Viewers took to social media to slam Watter’s feedback, arguing that the peace deal appeared insignificant.

One individual said, “Why do so many people feel nauseated over this?”

Another individual added, “Oh my god! I was waiting to see what spin you would put on this! How f—–g embarrassing are you, Jessie? Even the GOP is calling it the worst deal in history!”

A 3rd wrote, “You’re such an embarrassment, Jesse. Nothing but a propagandist! Horrible deal! We lost the war big time!”

Despite the criticism, the host had one supporter who agreed with him and shared, “Trump’s legacy will be that of the president who acted tough. Congratulations on this deal to Trump!”

Ahead of Trump’s signing, the Trump administration formally launched the 14-point memorandum of understanding between the U.S. and Iran. The MOU indicated that the U.S. would immediately end the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and waive Iranian oil sanctions.

The deal demanded that the U.S., Iran, and “their allies in the current war,” must “declare the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon, and undertake from now on not to initiate any war or any military operation against each other.”
