Katy Perry detailed the “worst year of her life” amid her break up from longtime companion Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter.

In a new interview, Perry, 41, mirrored on her mental health woes amid their breakup and how she discovered the strength to rise again. During her look on The Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music, Perry said, as quoted by Daily Mail, “Last year was so hard. It was the worst year and the best year. Because there are two sides to every coin, I decided to look at it as the best.”
