Viewers of Fox News took goal at Greg Gutfeld and his hypocrisy as he attacked Texas State Representative James Talarico.
On the Fox News program The Five, the co-hosts have been discussing Talarico sharing a checking account with his mom on Thursday, June 18. There have been studies from conservative media that the 37-year-old politician has a checking account with his mom, according to his financial disclosure information. During the dialog, Greg pivoted and disparaged Talarico’s look, saying he “looks like a weirdo.”
Viewers online at the time called out Jesse for being nasty toward Talarico.
Similarly, viewers on X (previously Twitter) slammed Greg and famous how he is a hypocrite to say the Texas Senate Democratic nominee “looks like a weirdo.”
One particular person wrote, “‘he looks like a weirdo’ says this petite, middle-aged squirt who looks like a weirdo.”

Talarico received the Democratic Senate major in Texas, beating US Representative Jasmine Crockett. He’s now the Democratic nominee for the 2026 US Senate election in Texas. He will probably be dealing with off against the Republican nominee, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, in November. Talarico has served as a member of the Texas House of Representatives since 2018.
The educator lately slammed Paxton at a marketing campaign event in Waco, Texas, on June 18. Talarico blasted Paxton for a lenient plea deal that his workplace cut with former Waco lawyer Adam Hoffman, who was accused and charged with inappropriately abusing a younger boy for years. The deal allowed Hoffman to serve less than a month in prison.
Talarico also called on the Republican politician to “release the Hoffman files” and said he gave Hoffman an “[Jeffrey] Epstein-style sweetheart deal.”
“Ken Paxton had the chance to protect a child. Instead, he protected a predator,” Talarico said at the event. “If there’s anything that all Texans can agree on — Democrats and Republicans, progressives and conservatives — it’s that no one, not even the attorney general of Texas, should be able to cover up crimes against children.”
