Kamalas New Comment About Trump, Accountability | Political News
It’s onerous to imagine, but some polling has Kamala Harris as the main Democratic candidate for 2028.
It’s very early, it isn’t even clear that she would run, and other candidates are doubtless to overtake her in a real major. But if the Democrats had been silly enough to put her ahead, given the sound drubbing that she obtained in 2024, be at liberty. I’m sure Republicans would love that.
Harris is clearly reaching low, if she’s bothering to go on Don Lemon’s podcast to strive to promote herself.
Then, too, what she said was some beautiful hypocrisy. Lemon requested her if people in the Trump Justice Department (DOJ) going after “political rivals” ought to “face some sort of justice.”
Don Lemon tells Kamala he thinks people in the Trump DOJ ought to “face justice” for going after “political rivals.”
Kamala agrees: “I absolutely believe that.”
Lemon: “If you are president in 2028, will you make sure that there’s accountability?”

“Oh, nicely, I completely imagine that,” Harris said. “And I imagine there must be accountability.” She said those who abused their power and authority should be held accountable. “And there must be consequence,” she affirmed.
Lemon asked her if she ran and won in 2028, would she make sure there was accountability.
“Oh, I imagine firmly in accountability, yes,” she smiled.
Wait, I’m confused. That sounds an awful lot like hypocrisy there.
So Dems going after “political rivals” is “D” different and good.
But the Republicans making an attempt to maintain Democrats accountable is unhealthy. That’s a head-spinner. She’s going on about the Trump administration while ignoring the prosecutions against Trump.
Add that to the Democrats in Congress, like House Majority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, promising retribution against members of the Trump administration for issues like “state violence against the American people” [talking about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)].
If Dems obtained back into energy, the remaining two years could be all about their efforts to get Trump and people in the administration. Forget something constructive being performed.
Kamala wasn’t fairly performed yet with being Kamala. She threw in one heck of a phrase salad in the method. But she clearly thinks she has a likelihood in 2028.
Kamala explains to Don Lemon the facility of hope:
“I actually, really imagine this. We we each have have mild inside of us. And we need to know that that is what conjures up our hope as a lot as something exterior to ourselves. And when we really feel that and and and not permit an election or… pic.twitter.com/E8ktOBAtTy

“I actually, really imagine this. We, we each have, have mild inside of us. And we need to know that, that is what conjures up our hope as a lot as something exterior to ourselves. And when we really feel that and, and, and not permit an election or an particular person to dampen that mild, and instead mild, let that mild variety of carry us in explicit through moments of darkness, that, that we not only act on that hope, but we inspire that hope in each other. And in explicit, at this second, it’s so important that we not only have hope, but that we perceive that, that must be a verb.”
What the heck? She cannot even just lie to us and say “hope and change,” she has to cloak it in more than 100 phrases that say nothing.
But both clips are a excellent reminder of how important it was that President Donald Trump gained.
