Lionel Richie was pressured to cancel his live performance in Saint Paul, Minnesota midway through as he suffered a health issue while live on stage. The Dancing on the Ceiling hitmaker was an hour into his set on Wednesday evening (June 24) at the Grand Casino Arena when he had to halt the show for an sudden intermission, explaining he was feeling “dizzy” and asking the viewers to wait for him to come back.

However, half-hour later the band had also left the stage, and the group was told Richie, 77, wouldn’t be returning as he wasn’t feeling properly enough.
