Lionel Richie, 77, has sparked new health issues after abruptly cutting short his opening live performance when sickness struck mid-efficiency.

The legendary singer was taking the stage at the Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota, when he announced an surprising 40-minute intermission. Ultimately, the show never resumed.
