“So for me enjoying more than three weeks in a row is awfully tough. I can not deal with a lot more than that.”

PGA Tour stars such as Scheffler and World No. 2 Rory McIlroy have both acknowledged trimming their schedules, as the grueling demands of constant travel and long hours on the practice range inevitably take a physical toll.

“When you look at the season now I believe it, for household time it is great to have an low season as nicely, just for us for me to give you the option to be at home with my household is important,” added Scheffler, who just welcomed a second child.

“As far as the cadence goes, yeah, I positively have a cadence that I favor when it comes to scheduling and there are positively dangers cramming a bunch of tournaments into little home windows just because it is laborious to play that many tournaments in a row.
