Gary Glitter has been interviewed in prison by police for a collection of alleged historic intercourse offences, claimed to be involving a lady aged under 14. The disgraced pop star, real identify Paul Francis Gadd, is accused of finishing up the offences “over a period of time” in the late Nineteen Seventies and early Nineteen Eighties at a residential property in Kensington.

Gadd is at the moment imprisoned at HMP Channings Wood, a class C prison, after being sentenced to serve 16 years behind bars in 2015 for inappropriately abusing three schoolgirls between 1975 and 1980. Now the Metropolitan Police has confirmed further questioning has taken place, stating: “A person in his 80s was interviewed under warning in relation to the reported offending in July 2025.

“The investigation is ongoing, and the sufferer is at the moment being supported by specialist officers. Anyone reporting non-recent inappropriate offences will likely be listened to and supported.

“Over the past year, the Met has expanded safeguarding teams, and rolled out training on victim approach, resulting in charges more than doubling for child inappropriate exploitation.”

Gadd was initially launched from HMP The Verne, a Dorset low security prison, in February 2023 after serving half of his fixed-term sentence.

But six weeks after, he was returned to custody after allegedly breaching his licence circumstances, making an attempt to access the darkish web and viewing downloaded pictures of kids.

His utility for parole was rejected in June 2025.
