A synopsis teases: “From Shakespeare, stage fright and the insecurities of acting to the worldwide fame of the Lord of the Rings and James Bond movies, they reflect on success, failure and the importance of never taking either too seriously.
“Along the way in which Ian speaks movingly about popping out, his defining function in the struggle against Section 28, and one of his biggest regrets; never sharing the reality about himself with his mother and father.”
Judi said of the new episode: “I’m completely delighted to be returning for a second movie, and even more happy to be sharing the expertise with the fantastic Sir Ian McKellen. The response to the first movie was deeply touching, and it is a great privilege to continue these conversations and seize moments of great friendship.”
