Donald Trump faces backlash watching himself on | TV Shows

A viral image of President Donald Trump watching himself on Fox News has sparked backlash among conservatives.

On July 4, President Trump, 80, had been scheduled to ship his Independence Day deal with at a set time. However, extreme climate and an intense heat wave threw the Freedom 250 celebrations into disarray, forcing evacuations on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Fox News was left scrambling to fill a two-hour hole in its coverage.

During the delay, a Fox News cameraman captured the president watching the community’s broadcast. This got here after the president highlighted “American strength and power” in a speech after extreme storms interrupted his Fourth of July celebrations.

In the widely shared image, Trump appeared to be backstage inside a tent alongside his spouse, Melania Trump, 56, who was dressed in a white robe that night. The couple had their backs to the digicam, reviews the Irish Star.

The same scene was concurrently seen on the TV screen, with a chyron at the underside studying: “The president is set to speak at 11 pm.”

Social media customers had been fast to weigh in on the image, with many accusing the president of narcissism.

One consumer wrote: “Trump watching himself, watching himself on Fox.”

Another mockingly commented, “Spaceballs: The Presidency. This is like the infinity mirror from Hell.”

A 3rd added: “Insane! This is peak narcissism. He only cares about himself. An endless reflection without ever seeing the actual reality behind the screen.”

Despite the backlash, Trump retained at least one enthusiastic admirer, who proclaimed, “Best-looking president in history!”

President Trump finally took to the stage just after 11:15 pm for the Salute to America 250 Celebration and Fireworks.

During his 30-minute deal with, Trump departed from his ready remarks to ship a passionate tirade against communism.

Standing before the gang, he proclaimed that America “will never be a communist country.

“Our warriors didn’t struggle communism on battlefields across the world, only to have that menace rear its ugly head proper back right here in America,” the president continued. “We’d like to stop a risk like that immediately and before it begins.”

After pledging “We’re gonna do the moon,” Trump vowed that the SAVE America Act will “keep America great” through his proposals for a nationwide voter ID and proof-of-citizenship bill.

Following his speech marking America’s 250th birthday, Trump appeared to close his eyes and nod off during the subsequent fireworks display.

As the evening progressed, the president drew additional scrutiny for saluting during the national anthem rather than placing his hand over his heart.
