Tiffany Haddish took purpose at the Freedom 250 Great American State Fair on Monday night while internet hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The comic, 46, weighed in on the Fourth of July festivities held in Washington, D.C., including the truthful on the National Mall.

The 250th anniversary celebration has confronted mounting criticism since its launch in June, with many noting that attendance has fallen effectively short of what President Donald Trump appeared to anticipate.

Several fairgoers had to wait out the rain inside the African American History Museum, she noted.

Some attendees at the Great American State Fair have expressed disappointment with the event. Ester Kerstgans, 55, told The Mirror U.S., “We have a different expectation about a truthful. We thought there might be more rides.

“In the Netherlands, when you go to a fair, there are all kinds of attractions outside where you can take your rides, and the food stands are all outside,” Kerstgans added. “Everything is outside.”

However, she acknowledged being pleasantly stunned by the turnout, contemplating the sweltering temperatures during the July 4 weekend.

“I think it’s great,” Kerstgans, who works as processing supervisor, said. ” I’m glad to see that there are a lot of people because I think it’s great to see this with all the states.”

The 16-day event is organized by Freedom 250, a Trump-backed group. The “Great America State Fair” is among a number of celebrations from Freedom 250 marking the U.S.’ 250th birthday, which operates independently from the bipartisan group America 250 that Congress established in 2016.

The event showcases over 150 displays spanning all 56 states and territories along the National Mall in Washington D.C., that includes points of interest such as a Ferris wheel, army performances, and a duplicate of Trump’s triumphal arch.
