Meghan Markle set to make her TV return as | TV Shows

Meghan Markle is set to make a TV look in just a matter of days, according to a new announcement.

The Duchess of Sussex will serve as a visitor choose on MasterChef Australia. Australian audiences can tune in to Channel 10 next Sunday, July 26, at 7 p.m. local time to see her on screen.

She will problem the opponents to put together a dish showcasing one seasonal ingredient alongside a significant personal story.

The accessible ingredients will embrace carrots, Jerusalem artichokes, Brussels sprouts, celeriac, Australian honey, macadamia nuts, quince, lemons and apples, mandarins and strawberries.

Meghan will be part of MasterChef Australia judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli.

Speaking about her participation, the Duchess of Sussex told Mediaweek, “What attracted me to the MasterChef Australia kitchen? Two things: my love of food and my love of Australia. It was an easy yes.”

She continued, “These [the ingredients available] are all things that, for me, feel really nostalgic.”

The community announced via Instagram Meghan’s participation in the show. The caption read, “The countdown is on! Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, joins the #MasterChefAU kitchen as a guest judge, bringing her love of food, entertaining and seasonal produce to one of the competition’s most memorable challenges. Tune in on Sunday, 26 July at 7pm on @channel10au.”

Despite the community’s enthusiasm, the response wasn’t all that constructive. “Definitely won’t be watching,” one particular person insisted as another commented, “Thanks for reminding me not to watch.”

A 3rd critic requested, “Really? They couldn’t find anyone else?” while another person joked, “She will teach you how to put pratzel from one bag to another bag.” One other indignant viewer said, “Thanks for the heads up and making it easier to avoid.”

However, Meghan did have some supporters. “Everyone complaining that she’s on it despite the fact she has a cooking show but everyone was totally fine for Robert Irwin,” one fan identified.

Another admitted, “Can’t wait to watch it!!!” while one Instagram person predicted, “I know she will do a great job.”
