Meghan Markle is set to seem as a visitor choose on MasterChef Australia on July 26, a choice that has sparked blended reactions among viewers.

According to Paramount ANZ, which owns the channel, the “entrepreneur, humanitarian and passionate home cook” will job contestants with getting ready a dish “fit for a Duchess” showcasing one seasonal ingredient.

Paramount explained that Meghan was chosen as a choose because of her enthusiasm for cooking, as demonstrated by her Netflix collection With Love and the debut of her lifestyle model, As Ever.

Meghan said: “What attracted me to the MasterChef Australia kitchen? Two things: my love of food and my love of Australia. It was an easy yes.

Nevertheless, some viewers have questioned why she will appear alongside judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli, with one fan highlighting she is “not a chef”.

During the problem, contestants must choose from the next ingredients: carrots, Jerusalem artichokes, Brussels sprouts, celeriac, Australian honey, macadamia nuts, quince, lemons, apples, mandarins, and strawberries.
