President Donald Trump’s scheduled White House handle on Thursday, July 16, is not going to be carried by NBC or ABC.

Several reporters confirmed to Mediate that instead of broadcasting the 80-year-old commander-in-chief’s remarks on their main tv channels, NBC and ABC will stream the speech on their respective digital platforms.

This strategy is not without precedent, as networks have beforehand opted not to air sure addresses by former presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden in real time.

Journalist Brian Stelter broke the news in a latest X thread, writing, “In sum: Trump will not be getting the wall-to-wall airtime he wants from everyone, but the speech will be widely streamed and available.”

The announcement follows Trump’s dismissal of the Seattle prosecutor.

The White House responded swiftly, with Director of Communications Steven Cheung posting on X: “Cowards. NBC and ABC don’t want you to hear the truth. All they want to do is hide the facts from YOU. Tune in @WhiteHouse at 9:00pm EDT, where we always get bigger ratings than any of the networks.”

An NBC spokesperson confirmed to Mediate that Brian’s reporting was appropriate, while an ABC consultant disclosed to the outlet how ABC intends to present access to Trump’s handle.

“ABC News will run President Trump’s speech on ABC News Live and ABC News Radio with comprehensive, anchored coverage. We will also cover the speech in our regular network newscasts and, as always, our Special Report team is fully prepared to break into network programming to deliver live updates and reporting should significant developments occur,” the ABC spokesperson told Mediate.

The determination concerning how to broadcast the handle has generated substantial online dialogue throughout the week, with hypothesis that the speech will focus on the widely debunked conspiracy concept that Democrats stole the 2020 presidential election.

Around 3:30 p. m. EST, networks announced their determination, just hours before the handle scheduled for 9 p.m. EST.

Sources point out Trump’s MAGA supporters are “scared s—less” forward of his Thursday handle to the American people, where he is claiming to have “really big news” on election security.

The upcoming speech is also inflicting concern among Republican allies of the POTUS, as more voters appear more involved with the associated fee of residing moderately than election fraud.

Additionally, the handle comes during escalating tensions with Iran and rising fuel prices. Sources within the Trump administration disclosed that moderately than emphasizing declining inflation or selling the new housing laws, Trump will focus his remarks on the 2020 presidential election and “free and fair elections.”

This focus has left many Republicans anxious.

“The people I talk to are scared s—less,” revealed a former Trump administration official, talking on condition of anonymity. “It’s not scared s—less about the text of what he’s going to say, it’s, what does he add to the text?”
