The wife of Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich has died following a battle with cancer, the group announced Thursday.
The franchise shared the heartbreaking news of Cristina Ulbrich’s death in a assertion, remembering her as a devoted member of the Falcons household.
“The Atlanta Falcons are heartbroken by the passing of Cristina Ulbrich, beloved wife of defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, after her courageous battle with cancer,” the crew said.
The Falcons described Cristina as a “devoted wife, mother, and friend” whose strength and resilience affected everybody around her.
“She was a constant source of love and support to Jeff, their family, and the broader Falcons community,” the assertion continued.
Jeff and Cristina shared three kids: a daughter, Samantha, and two sons, Jax and Jace, according to his official bio on the Falcons’ web site.
The group provided its condolences to Ulbrich, his kids and the remaining of Cristina’s family members while asking that the household be given privateness.

Ulbrich was named the Falcons’ defensive coordinator under new head coach Kevin Stefanski in January 2025 after spending 4 seasons with the Jets, including a stint as New York’s interim head coach during the ultimate 12 video games of the 2024 season.
The former NFL linebacker beforehand spent six seasons on the Falcons’ teaching employees from 2015-20 after enjoying his total 10-year profession with the 49ers.
