TV host falls asleep live on air in awkward | TV Shows

A tv presenter was captured seemingly dozing off during a live broadcast, prompting viewers to come to her protection.

FOX13 Memphis anchor Dominique Dillon was shown with her eyes shut and her head propped up on her palms in the studio as reporter Sheila O’Connor wrapped up her section on the annual Memphis to Peoria run benefiting St. Jude.

Dillon appeared to be caught off guard as her co-anchor merely grinned at the digital camera before this system transitioned to commercials. The second rapidly went viral on social media, with an Instagram clip suggesting she had been “caught SLEEP ON CAMERA” garnering 1000’s of likes and a whole bunch of feedback from viewers. This comes as Fox News descends into chaos as Jesse Watters branded Donald Trump ‘puppet.’

Supporters rallied behind her, arguing Dillon must be “given some grace.”

One viewer commented: “Those morning shifts are so challenging. Let’s give her some grace and support.”

Another wrote: “She’s a mom of two, a baby and a toddler while doing full reporting in Memphis. Baby, it’s HARD! She does a phenomenal job, and so I understand her to the T. It’s not easy,” studies the Express.

A 3rd concurred: “She has two small children. Show her some grace!” One broadcast journalist shared: “As a news anchor, I’ve fallen asleep before during commercial breaks too… But I don’t think it ever made the air.”

Several viewers even held the manufacturing group accountable for the mishap, questioning why they returned to the studio shot without confirming she was ready.

One remarked: “That looks like sabotage to me. Because why would that producer take that shot?”

Dillon obtained a promotion earlier this month to anchor FOX13 Memphis’ weekend newscasts on Saturday and Sunday while she continues to current Good Morning Memphis during the week.
