UFC confirmed that fighter Allan Nascimento has tragically died at the age of just 34. The Brazilian flyweight, who competed six instances across 5 years, last confronted Mitch Raposo in Las Vegas. He died of a suspected coronary heart assault in his sleep and was pronounced lifeless at the scene.

Tributes to Nascimento flooded in with former light-weight champion, and fellow Brazilian, Charles Oliveira saying: “Today I lost a brother that the fight game gave me. Thank you for always being by my side, for sharing the mats and the corner. I have nothing but gratitude for having you with me in training, in the corner, and just hanging out. I love you, man; you’re a legend.”
The UFC itself added: “A fixture on the doorstep of the Top 15, Nascimento was a constant presence alongside his team-mates whenever they made the walk, sharing an especially close bond with former lightweight champion and current BMF titleholder Charles Oliveira. Our condolences go out to Nascimento’s family and friends, the Chute Boxe Diego Lima team, and all those impacted by this sudden, heartbreaking loss.”
Nascimento’s health club also issued a assertion which read: “Today our team loses much more than an athlete; we lost a warrior, a friend, a dedicated competitor, and an extraordinary human being who earned the respect and admiration of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
