Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden was emotional on Celebrity Hunted as she told how she’d always wanted to have kids. The BBC ballroom professional is one of the celebrities collaborating in the Channel 4 collection, and moved viewers as she talked about not understanding whether or not having kids will probably be potential after having cancer, stories the Mirror.

“I’ve always wanted the honour to be a mum,” she said. “And obviously I don’t know if that’s going to be possible.” Amy, who was identified with breast cancer in 2023, continued: “A cancer diagnosis changes your life forever. I’d just got married, I had my whole life ahead of me, and all of a sudden my world fell apart in front of me.”

Amy revealed in May 2023 that she had been identified with breast cancer and subsequently underwent a mastectomy and chemotherapy.

The star is now competing in the Channel 4 show – which sees celebs on the run from a crew of professional trackers – alongside fellow dancer Carlos Gu.

He said: “Amy’s the strongest woman that I’ve ever met. She has completely inspired me in every level.” “I don’t know if I could do exactly what she did,” he added.
