A contestant on The Chase Around the World admitted she feared she’d throw up as she tucked into a snail on the show. The sequence, a spin-off of The Chase , launched last month and follows six pairs of contestants on an epic journey, where they must sort out a sequence of questions and challenges across different international locations as they fight to hunt down the Chasers and host Bradley Walsh. The duo who end last in each location will then need to take on the Chasers in a quiz, studies the Mirror.
As the ITV show landed in France, mum and daughter Nicola and Maddie took half in a food and drink spherical in which they have been provided the prospect to take a shortcut by attempting the French delicacy. Maddie immediately refused, saying the thought made her “genuinely nauseous”, but when Nicola wasn’t sure of the reply to a query she said: “I’m going to eat a snail… I’m probably going to be sick.”
Looking nervous, she then picked up one of the snails and bit into it as Maddie regarded on.
“It was vile… it was gritty,” she remarked afterwards.
However, some viewers believed it wasn’t a stage enjoying subject as after Maddie and Nicola have been provided snails, father and daughter Ashwin and Nikita got garlic and onion to select from instead as they’re vegan.

Nikita and Ashwin arrived at the vacation spot level last but managed to beat Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett and Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan in a quiz. Both quizzers made errors in a quickfire spherical and The Beast regarded dismayed as he had insisted the pair wouldn’t beat him again, after they did so in an earlier instalment.
