We reported on the flagrant foul on Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham that received Chicago Sky taking pictures guard DiJonai Carrington tossed from a sport performed between the 2 groups. Cunningham mainly received clotheslined and taken to the ground.

But on Tuesday, White let unfastened with an offended rant against the people who had criticized her response to the foul, and tried to backpedal, saying she hadn’t watched the play on video before talking. She said this was directed toward the online group that was making an attempt to be divisive.

Trying to create a fabrication or distortion of who I’m, of what I’m about. Our gamers’ success, our gamers’ health and wellness, our gamers’ security is always a top precedence for me. One of the issues I pleasure myself on is my relationships with gamers.
“For those who have anything to say about the play in the last game? I didn’t see the play in real time. I went straight to a press conference. I thought the play got called right. Thankfully, Sophie’s okay. Was it egregious? Absolutely. When you have a chance to watch that over and over and over on replay, you can see that. I didn’t have that in real time.”
She’s saying she did not see it in real time. What was she doing, then, in real time? And, of course, there had to have been some bench dialogue of it, as effectively. Why was she offering up her opinion that it wasn’t an intentional foul, if she did not see it?
White said she has her gamers’ backs, “10 toes down all the time, all of the time.”

Bizarre to say love and grace will win, and she leads with love and grace, then she says everyone else can “go to hell.” Pro tip? Maybe people aren’t actually going to settle for what you are saying when you say stuff like that.
People reacted to her unique feedback and actions – those have been on her. If she have been “10 toes down,” perhaps the fervour she is displaying now is the fervour she ought to have had when her gamers have been getting mistreated.
If White and/or the crew thought a assertion was going to remedy the issue, that rant just poured some more fuel on it, if the reactions have been any indication.
Fever president Kelly Krauskopf issued a assertion backing White.
