Ogwumike also serves as the president of the Women’s National Basketball Players Assn., where she helped spearhead a transformative collective bargaining settlement this offseason that introduced some participant salaries over $1 million for the first time.
She signed a one-year, $950,000 deal to return to the Sparks in the offseason.
