Blessed with extraordinary ranges of endurance and understanding, these selfless stunners deserve all of the flowers, apples, online love, and reward as dynamic difference-makers in the classroom.
Without superb lecturers being real-life superheroes, we wouldn’t have proficient creatives like Felicia Pride as the Creator, Showrunner, and Executive Producer of the extremely anticipated A Different World sequel collection on Netflix.
Devoted to telling resonant tales of the often missed, the famed author, producer, director, and founder continues to thrive in media and leisure with the premiere of the buzziest Black-led collection of the yr steadily approaching.
“Y’all! I am still over here processing,” she wrote in a lengthly Instagram post. “Still. Like I might never have thought in my WILDEST goals. A DIFFERENT WORLD helped raised me actually. When Mommy and I moved back to Baltimore, just us, after college, while she was working, I might watch my fav episodes (that I recorded on VHS). The college students at Hillman have been my pals while I used to be making an attempt to make some. They taught me how to be okay with being myself, how to excel, forgive, apologize, oh and how to step! Forever indebted.
So a lot gratitude to the ICONÂ Debbie Allen, who called me and introduced me into this project figuring out I may do it before I did. Thanks to our companions at Netflix and our EP workforce.
