Designed by Ev Bravado and Téla D’Amore and styled by Law, the doorway look was dramatic from the start. Naomi wore a sweeping white tulle skirt with a grey terry hooded robe lined in sewn-in newspaper clippings highlighting moments from her profession.
According to Vogue, Ev and Téla created the customized piece in just 30 hours. The design also pulled from a Fall 2020 Off-White look by the late Virgil Abloh, who mentored the designers. Underneath all that tulle was another serve.
Naomi wore a black Nike tennis gown with pink accents, red-and-black arm sleeves, and a matching headband. Her hair was braided into cornrows, finishing her tribute to Allen Iverson and the fashion he made synonymous with his years in the NBA.
After defeating Anastasia Zakharova in straight units, Naomi confirmed precisely who impressed the look.
“It’s my, I guess, my tribute to Iverson. I really like him a lot,” she told press.
