The Internet is (STILL) abuzz over Angel Victoria Murdock, the alleged tutorial flimflamster and former Temptation Island participant whose doubtful Duke dealings, purported PA pursuits, and degree-related deception have sparked a deluge of digital discourse.
Now, after Duke University’s Physician Assistant program set the report straight that Murdock was completely not a Duke PA scholar, despite TikToks displaying her suited in scrubs, pulling up to “campus,” and even donning a commencement robe, there’s evennnnn more alleged tutorial absurdity to unpack.
According to Inc, the allegations against Murdock gained traction after a Reddit thread went viral, prompting a Duke PA program graduate from the category of 2026, Kiera Brown, to communicate out. Brown launched an eight-minute video claiming Murdock only ever shared one picture from inside this system’s tutorial building, and that the scholars seen in that picture had been truly from a class years above Brown’s own.
Brown didn’t maintain back in her evaluation, alleging that Murdock “found somebody’s old story post, screenshotted it, made it seem like she was in the building.” She also identified that documentation and photographs from her precise graduating class show no evidence that Murdock was ever enrolled, calling the state of affairs “creepy.”
According to TheShadeRoom, none of the 89 college students in Murdock’s supposed graduating class recalled seeing her on campus, in class, or at any social occasions throughout the two-year program. She also didn’t seem in the official class picture, her commencement robe reportedly featured incorrect colours, her identify wasn’t called during the ceremony, and she isn’t listed in the National Commission on Certification of PAs database.
Duke’s PA Program Responds To The Claims
When reached instantly for remark, Duke Health gave a assertion saying;
“We can find no record of a student by the name of Angel Murdock having applied to or attended the Duke Physician Assistant Program.”
The assertion also emphasised the importance of truly graduating from this system, noting Duke’s standing as the founder of the occupation itself.
Separately, questions have also emerged about her real estate profession, with neither North Carolina nor Georgia displaying her listed in their licensed realtor databases, despite her claiming to maintain licenses in both states.
David Markowitz, an affiliate professor at Michigan State University who research social and psychological deception, told Inc that the constructive consideration Murdock doubtless acquired performed a function in sustaining the alleged fabrication.
“It is possible that this identity would attract more attention and praise than a less prestigious identity,” he said, including that people who obtain validation for misleading claims often interpret that response as permission to keep going.
Markowitz also raised considerations about the broader affect of somebody posing as a medical skilled, noting it may deepen present public mistrust in the healthcare area. As for legal penalties, GWN reported that impersonating a real estate broker may carry prison penalties in both North Carolina and Georgia, though no formal investigation has been opened at this time.
Murdock has not addressed the allegations publicly.
