21 Savage not too long ago welcomed his first baby with Latto, and despite already being a father, issues are a lot different for him this time around.

The Atlanta rapper opened up about the shift during an interview with comic Pete Davidson on his Pete Davidson Show. During their dialog, 21 revealed some of the adjustments he’s seen in himself since he had a child woman earlier this 12 months, evaluating the expertise to when he turned a dad to his first three kids a lot earlier in life.
“My first three, I was younger, running around in the street, it was different,” the rapper explained. “Now I’m in the house. I have the baby all night, making her bottles, changing her diapers. So it’s a different bond type s**t. As I got older, I developed that bond better with my other kids, like I was around day one, but I wasn’t as attentive.”
The UK-born star first turned a father at 20, and even though he was concerned in their lives, he wasn’t as attentive while he labored to set up his profession as a rapper. Now that he’s profitable and financially secure, it’s modified his viewpoint a bit about being there for his youngsters.
“I’m glad I did both, though,” 21 explained about his different eras of fatherhood. “I wouldn’t want to be… how can I put it? I feel like having my kids early motivated me to go get it. To be ambitious. So now I’m glad I had kids then and got to experience both ways of parenting.”
21 Savage and Latto welcomed their first baby together in May 2026. According to stories from Cosmopolitan, the Atlanta rappers have been together since 2020, but they’ve saved their relationship personal for a majority of their time together.
Once Big Mama confirmed she was pregnant with her first baby, the couple slowly introduced their relationship to the limelight, and now, they’re sharing more and more about their time together. When requested about that shift during an interview on The Breakfast Club, Latto admits that issues get to a level where you’re no longer ready to be personal.
“I feel like once you start reaching different milestones in life, you can only be so private,” she said in an interview while selling her album. “I got a baby. I can only be so private.”
When host Loren LoRosa added that her relationship in all probability “feels good” to the purpose where she desires to share, Latto confirmed that’s positively the case.
“I do…I’m more comfortable sharing it in the music, because I’m in that booth alone and I can just speak freely.”
