The Most Magical Place on Earth is swapping out a little bit of its kick.
Tabasco is being phased out of eating places across Walt Disney World — with Tapatio taking its place in the House of Mouse condiment lineup.
The swap was not too long ago noticed at ABC Commissary in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where the acquainted tiny Tabasco packets have disappeared and been changed with the Mexican type scorching sauce instead, according to WDW News Today.

The swap comes on the heels of Disney’s company partnership with Kraft Heinz, which has been quickly remodeling the parks’ condiment counters. WDWNT
The swap is reportedly being rolled out across Disney World eating places, that means Tabasco devotees might need to convey their own bottles if they need its distinctive vinegary kick with their theme-park grub.
For scorching sauce aficionados, it’s hardly an even swap. Tabasco is made from purple peppers, salt, and distilled vinegar — recognized for packing a distinctive sharp punch. Meanwhile, Tapatio combines purple peppers with salt, spices, garlic and other ingredients giving it a thicker consistency and a different taste profile.

While some Tabasco diehards may mourn the loss, hordes of others are celebrating the news on social media. “The single best change last decade!” raved one fan on Instagram, while another insisted “THESE ARE THE CORRECT CULINARY ADJUSTMENTS.”
“It’s an improvement. I will just say that,” wrote one commenter. Another agreed, including that “Tapatio isn’t the best. But it’s better than Tabasco for sure.”
It’s unclear whether or not the swap will likely be locked in across all resort eating counters globally.
