Today, that “affordable” housing comes with an eight-figure price tag. But the astonishing increase shouldn’t have stopped the precise class of buyer, consultants say.
“It is so famous, and by LA standards, the price didn’t seem to be out of whack too much,” architectural historian Alan Hess told SFGATE.
