Ella Langley is clapping back at followers who thought she poorly dealt with an awkward scenario with a fan.
The “Choosin’ Texas” singer has gone viral after a man requested her out after her Sept. 24 show in Knoxville, Tennessee, then posted the video of her response on social media.
In the video, TikTok consumer Tiki is heard taking his probability to ask the singer out on a date, shouting through a fence in the car parking zone, “Ella, how many likes to take you on a date?”
She didn’t appear too taken with the thought of a romance with the fan. She appeared at him with a severe look on her face and said, “Not enough in the world,” as she frowned and appeared away.
He then stood with his arms crossed over his chest, appeared at the digicam and said, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
Some followers in the feedback part weren’t happy with Langley’s response to the fan. “This rubbed me the wrong way. And I like her,” one fan wrote. Another requested, “Literally what is her problem?”
Another added, “She could have laughed and said no in a whole different way.”
In response to the criticism, Langley spoke up in the feedback part herself, writing, “It was meant to come off as dark humor. You said that and it got quiet and I got nervous.”
While many took issue with the best way she responded, others got here to her protection, declaring that just because she is known, she’s not required to be good all the time. One fan wrote, “Being screamed at 24/7 would get irritating.”

The singer might have had another cause to say no to the fan after she was lately seen leaving an event in Nashville with fellow nation star Tucker Wetmore, sparking romance rumors.
