Kandi Burruss’ break up from Todd Tucker has had its ugly moments, and now she’s opening up about her ex-husband’s proposed sequence, Til Divorce Do Us Part, and offering insight into why it differs from her one-woman show about their marriage.

During an interview with GWN‘s Audie Cornish, the singer, actress, and serial hustler broke her silence on Tucker’s plan to reveal intimate particulars about what occurred in their marriage.
“He’s tried to pitch the show multiple times,” Burruss said. “They did not choose to do it.”
Cornish admitted that she was not offered on the idea—which also consists of a forged of males who had been once concerned with earlier and current housewives, particularly Apollo Nida, Peter Thomas, Ralph Pittman Jr. and Dennis McKinley—and thought that the wonder of the Housewives franchise was that it was told through the lens of the ladies.

“The man who shall not be named—Kandi’s former partner—has a new project,” Cornish said. “Not to be a hater, but I really don’t want to see the men. One of the things I loved about Real Housewives, it was centering the story of women. Many over the age of 40. And I didn’t really want to know about the dudes on the side.”
Tucker beforehand confirmed that the show was handed on by Bravo, telling Ryan Cameron Uncensored that the unique idea included former #RHOA husbands Bob Whitfield and Kroy Biermann.
“Let me tell you the real: I wrote this show probably four years ago for them [the divorced husbands of The Real Housewives of Atlanta],” he said.
“They turned it down because they gotta protect their brand, right?” he said. “I pitched it a couple other places. Nobody picked it up. I always thought it was a good show.”
