Megyn Kelly blasts Olivia Rodrigo for supporting…

Megyn Kelly told Olivia Rodrigo to “shut up and stick to singing” after the singer spoke out in assist of the lady at the middle of the “Cornell 7” gang rape case.

Jane Doe, an unnamed Cornell scholar, sued the college and seven former Chi Phi fraternity members last month, alleging she was drugged and gang-raped at a fraternity home in October 2024.

During Monday’s episode of her YouTube show, Kelly read Rodrigo’s assertion, which the “drivers license” singer posted on her Instagram Story Sunday.

“Shame on Cornell and on every institution who protects rapists and abusers over women,” Rodrigo wrote.

“I stand with Jane Doe. Her bravery reverberates across the country and the crimes against her will not go unpunished.”

“What she lived through matters, and so does the failure of those who could have intervened but chose not to. She deserves answers, consequences, and lasting change,” Rodrigo, 23, added.

Kelly, 55, responded by telling Rodrigo to “shut up and stick to singing.”

“I liked you better when you were in front of a microphone singing your weird little depressing songs,” Kelly said.

“Shut up. You don’t know what you’re speaking about.

“It’s better to keep your mouth shut and let people suspect you’re an idiot than to open it and prove them right. Ever hear that saying? It applies to you, sweetheart.”

Kelly called Rodrigo a “know-nothing moron” who all of a sudden thinks she has one thing “profound” to say.

“Sit down and be quiet. Or I’m going to have to start pulling your music and your lyrics and take a deep dive into exactly the kind of messaging that you are pushing on young women. I guarantee it’s not going to end well for you, Olivia. Be quiet. The adults are talking,” she added.

Jane Doe alleges that seven members of the Chi Phi fraternity gave her alcohol and medicine, including ketamine, before inappropriately assaulting her for hours at a fraternity home in October 2024 while she was unable to consent.

She also alleges that Cornell failed to adequately shield her or ship justice after she reported the allegations to college officers.

Messages from a Snapchat group chat submitted as evidence allegedly show the defendants inviting other fraternity members to be a part of them at the placement of the alleged assault.

Matthew Ingalls — the Chi Phi brother who the accuser said sparked her alleged gang rape — claimed to campus officers that the accuser “sodomized” him, according to a February 2025 e mail.

Cornell expelled Ingalls and another brother after an inside investigation discovered them accountable for inappropriate assault in May 2025. The other 5 males named in Doe’s lawsuit have been suspended or acquired lesser disciplinary penalties.

The accused males have denied wrongdoing and none have been charged.

Last week, Cornell defended its initial handling of the case while agreeing to an impartial review.

“Any suggestion that the university did not impose consequential punishments for those involved is false,” Kyle Kimball, the college’s vice president of college relations, said in a Sept. 28 assertion.

On Saturday, Cornell President Michael I. Kotlikoff said the college would take part in an impartial investigation into how it dealt with Jane Doe’s report.

“What happened to Jane Doe in 2024 is deeply disturbing and will weigh heavily on our community for years to come, ” he said.

“It raises heartbreaking and troubling points about inappropriate assault, dehumanization and facets of social gathering tradition, alcohol and drug use.

“We as an administration and community must do better.”

Rodrigo is among a number of celebrities who have publicly expressed assist for Jane Doe, including Florence Pugh, Lzzy Hale, Mariska Hargitay, Hudson Williams and Josh Gad.
