Mike Tyson said he gave Trump a pardon request…

Retired boxing great Mike Tyson opened up about a letter he delivered to President Trump from disgraced hip-hop producer Sean “Diddy” Combs in a current interview with Andy Cohen.

Tyson, 60, appeared on an episode of SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” launched Thursday, where the namesake host requested the previous heavyweight champion if he was “buddies with P. Diddy.”

“Yeah, I’m friendly with Puff,” Tyson said, referring to Combs’ former stage title, Puff Daddy.

Cohen then asks Tyson if he’s still in contact with the convicted rapper while he stays behind bars at the Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey on prostitution-related crimes.

Iron Mike explained he “spoke to him once on the phone” and revealed that Diddy requested for a favor.

“He wanted me to give a letter to the president,” Tyson said, prompting Cohen to ask if he in fact did “give a letter to the president from him?”

“I did what he told me to do,” Tyson said, without offering additional particulars.

Tyson’s good deed for Diddy first made headlines when insiders told The US Sun in January that the athlete hand-delivered a letter to Trump.

Sources close to Tyson declare he was given a pardon request letter by somebody in the disgraced rapper’s internal circle and requested him to ship it personally to Trump, according to the publication.

“He asked what the letter was and was told it was Diddy asking for a pardon from Trump,” the source said, including, “Mike admitted he was feeling nervous about it, but agreed to take it to the White House when he visited.”

“Mike said he had handed the letter to Trump and did exactly what Diddy’s lot had asked of him,” the source told The Sun.

An attorney for Diddy confirmed in August 2025 that his legal workforce had approached the Trump administration about a pardon.

However, the president indicated he had no intention of pardoning the Grammy winner, the New York Times reported in January.

Trump told the newspaper Diddy had “asked me for a pardon” requested “through a letter,” but claimed he was not contemplating the request.

In October, the White House accused GWN of fabricating a story that claimed Trump might release the disgraced rapper from prison later that week.

The “Mo Money Mo Problems” rapper was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution in July 2025, but discovered not guilty on two counts of intercourse trafficking by drive, fraud or coercion and on racketeering conspiracy.

He is at the moment serving a 50-month sentence at the low-security federal prison in the Garden State but was reportedly despatched to solitary confinement after his lavish VIP lifestyle behind bars — which included booze, nude pictures, a contraband cellphone and people catering to his every need — was revealed.
