Feds Charge Tucson Man Over White House Bomb | Political News

Why does it always appears to be the Left that’s the quickest to denounce political violence — and yet the quickest to advocate it in apply — and the quickest to attempt to carry it out?

We’ve seen it in the last few years all too often, including such issues as a leftist nutcase focusing on Republicans at a Congressional ball sport — not to point out a number of makes an attempt on the life of a former president and a presidential candidate, and then again after that president resumed workplace.

Now, another seeming attempt on the life of the President has been, luckily, thwarted.

Jacob Aaron Hicks, 46, of Tucson, was arrested yesterday and charged by felony grievance with Making an Interstate Threat to Injure. Hicks is accused of sending an e-mail on Sep.23, 2026, threatening to commit mass bombings at the White House and around the Washington, D.C. space. Hicks made his initial look in federal court today.

That look was on Thursday.

According to the felony grievance, Hicks emailed a local Tucson news station on Sep. 23, claiming that there can be an imminent bomb strike against the White House and other areas in Washington, D.C. The news station notified law enforcement, who started an investigation and recognized Hicks as the alleged sender of the e-mail.

As half of its investigation, law enforcement situated extra unsent e-mail drafts from the same e-mail account tied to Hicks. These draft emails, which have been also dated Sep. 23, have been addressed to other news companies and contained related threats to the White House and surrounding areas.

There is, as yet, no indication that Hicks obtained or tried to get hold of any explosives in order to truly perform his threats. But the menace itself is a crime under 18 U.S. Code § 871 – Threats against the President and successors to the Presidency.

Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a supply from any post workplace or by any letter service any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or doc containing any menace to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily hurt upon the President of the United States, the President-elect, the Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the workplace of President of the United States, or the Vice President-elect, or knowingly and willfully in any other case makes any such menace against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the workplace of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.

The FBI is taking the lead.

The FBI is conducting the investigation, with help from the United States Secret Service. The United States Attorney’s Office, District of Arizona, Tucson, is handling the prosecution.

Now, Mr. Hicks is, again, like all of the people who have been charged with threats against, or makes an attempt to hurt, public officers, entitled to due course of and the presumption of innocence. That’s high-quality. But what we must be involved with right here is the pattern; these sorts of threats weren’t heard almost as a lot from the Right.

It’s the Left, nearly always, that leans into political violence. Jacob Aaron Hicks, assuming the costs against him are confirmed true, is just another instance. Being president has always been a dangerous business, but it appears it has never been so harmful as it’s for a man named Donald John Trump.
