Rams Alaric Jackson has suspension reduced to one | College News

Rams left sort out Alaric Jackson’s suspension for punching a Buffalo Bills participant after a sport has been reduced from two video games to one, an NFL spokesman said Wednesday.

Jackson was suspended for putting Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb in the face after the Bills defeated the Rams, 37-34, in extra time on Monday evening.

Jackson appealed the suspension.

“Hearing officer Derrick Brooks, jointly appointed by the NFL and the NFLPA, has reduced the two game suspension of Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson to one game,” Michael Signora, the NFL’s senior vice president of soccer and worldwide communications, said on social media.

Jackson must sit out Sunday’s sport against the Arizona Cardinals but is eligible to return for an Oct. 25 sport against the Las Vegas Raiders.

David Quessenberry is on monitor to start in place of Jackson, coach Sean McVay said Tuesday.

The Rams also will start the 21-day window for rookie Keagen Trost to return from injured reserve.
