Where Have the Democrats Stashed Decoy Dan? –

It’s Election Eve right here in the U.S., and with candidates across the nation in races at the local, state, and federal ranges all making their remaining pitches to voters, one query is on the minds of political junkies in all places – but particularly Alaska:

Just where is Decoy Dan J. Sullivan? I imply, absolutely a man who is purportedly working of his own volition and who actually desires to be Alaska’s next senator could be on the market furiously campaigning for votes at this stage in the sport, proper?

As RedState beforehand reported, Sullivan seems to have gone MIA since the New York Times in-depth story got here out, which extensively detailed the alleged involvement of Democrat Mary Peltola’s marketing campaign in recruiting him to run in a high-stakes race that also options incumbent Sen. But in an update to this story, it has since been revealed that the FBI has talked to some of Decoy Dan’s few donors in his hometown of Petersburg, Alaska. And as the Associated Press famous, neighbors say they have not seen him in fairly a while:

In the sleepy Alaskan fishing group of Petersburg, no person has seen Dan J. Sullivan for weeks.

His rustic home stood darkish a day after FBI brokers visited pals who donated to his quixotic marketing campaign to unseat the Republican senator with the same first and last identify — Dan S. Sullivan. The only show of politics at his home was a yard signal from the League of Women Voters: “Stand Up for Democracy: Vote 2026.”

The AP’s efforts to attain Dan J. Sullivan since the Times article have been unsuccessful. Several of the donors the AP interviewed said they haven’t spoken to him in fairly some time.

President Donald Trump has actually had a lot to say about developments in this race. And on Monday, he weighed in on Truth Social with extra ideas:

The cause no person can discover the FAKE Dan Sullivan is that the Lawyers have “scooped” him up, and are hiding him as they educate him, step by step, what to say in order to keep away from one of the Greatest Fraud Prosecutions in American History! The legal professionals concerned in this case are Criminals, and needs to be handled as such. The Highest Levels of the Dumocrat Party are concerned in this Criminal Endeavor. Peltola needs to be pressured to resign, and charged, along with FAKE Candidate Daniel J. Sullivan, Jr., who is now, MISSING IN ACTION!

Polling has shown this four-person Ranked Choice Voting race as neck and neck between Peltola and Sen. Sullivan for weeks. But do not count on us to know something on election evening:
